Terms and Conditions

This page (together with any other web pages or documents referred to on it) tells you the terms and conditions on which we supply the products (“Products”) listed on our website www.bellabludesign.co.uk, (“Website”) to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before ordering any Products from our Website. You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The following terms and conditions apply to all online and telephone orders.

Product description

We endeavour to ensure that all the items we offer on the Website are shown as accurately as possible. Despite this, slight variations in size or colour may occur or vary dependant on the settings of your computer, monitor or printer. Our Products are hand built using select-grade timbers, and the natural variation in wood ensures each Product is truly unique.

Through skilled craftsmanship, we have honed and perfected our designs, building each piece to the highest standard, so occasionally some small variants can be found. All products shown are subject to availability.

Prices and payment

The price of any Products will be as quoted on our Website, except in cases of obvious error (for example £0). We reserve the right, in any event, to also cancel and refund any orders we receive which contain Products sold at incorrect prices.

The prices of the Products include UK VAT at the prevailing rate (currently 20%) This excludes delivery costs, where applicable, unless we have stated otherwise.

Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders where we have already sent you an order confirmation.

Payment for Products can be made by BACS transfer, acceptable credit or debit card or PayPal.

Availability

Since our furniture is hand crafted, we often only have small quantities available at one time. We will inform you as soon as possible if there may be a longer than expected waiting time until your item may be ready for delivery.

Order confirmation

After placing an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. We recommend keeping this email in a safe place as we may require information from it in any correspondence. If for whatever reason this confirmation email does not arrive, please contact customerservice@bellabludesign.co.uk so we can investigate it and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

This order represents an offer to us to manufacture a Product. All orders are subject to acceptance, and we will confirm such acceptance by sending you a Dispatch email that the Product has been dispatched. Any Products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such Dispatch confirmation, do not form part the terms of sale. 

Returns policy

We hope all our customers love our outdoor furniture designs as much as we do. But if you are not completely satisfied, we are happy for you to return your goods for a refund.* Please just be sure you let us know within 14 days from delivery, noting that the item you wish to return is unused and in a resalable condition together with any original packaging. (*Some exclusions apply, including ‘Bespoke’ or ‘Customised’ furniture)

Refunds policy:

Furniture items can be taken away free of charge at point of delivery; if you subsequently decide to return the Product(s), please allow up to 14 days for collection (or up to 30 days for more remote areas).

We regret that we are unable to offer refunds on the following items:

  • Items returned after 14 days from delivery
  • Faulty items not notified to us within 14 days from delivery
  • Bespoke or customised items
  • Items shipped outside of the UK
  • Large volume or trade orders

Products cannot be returned to us because they are unsuitable after the 14-day notification referred to above, unless we agree they are faulty. If we agree that a Product may be returned, it must be returned in perfect re-saleable condition with original packaging and may also be subject to a re-stocking fee.

In such a case, we will refund the price of the Product in full, excluding any cost of delivery of the Product. However, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Product to us or us collecting it from you. We are happy to arrange a collection for you, and we shall discuss a collection charge at the time of enquiry.

Bespoke or customised Products made specifically for you either in size, colour and/or with special order cushion fabrics, will NOT be refunded or cancelled unless they are faulty after the initial order has been placed/paid for in full or part. If you have any questions or concerns relating to this, please call or email us before placing any orders.

If you believe that any of our Products are of an unsatisfactory quality, please immediately contact Customer Services on 0800 678 5685. Please also send us photographs of any alleged defects so that we may assess the situation.

Where a Product may be faulty you will be entitled to a full refund within 14 days of delivery of the Product(s) to you. After this point, you will not be entitled to a full refund unless we have first been given the opportunity to repair and/or replace the Products. If we do not repair or replace the Product(s) within a reasonable period, or the Product is still defective following repair and/or replacement, then you can either keep the Product(s) and request a reasonable reduction in the price, or return the Product(s) and be entitled to a full refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights

Cancellation

If you wish to cancel an order for any reason, please notify us within 7 days. Please call or email customerservice@bellabludesign.co.uk. For items that have already been dispatched, please follow our returns process.

Bespoke and customised orders

Furniture items that are customised for you for size, colour or special-order fabrics are subject to a payment deposit prior to order dispatch. We may suspend or cancel work in progress or customer delivery if payment is not made by the agreed due date. Orders cancelled prior to manufacture are subject to 25% of the full cost.

Natural hardwoods

Natural hardwoods such as oak may release tannins when exposed to rain or heavy moisture, which may stain some surfaces such as concrete or stone patios. All wood has slight variations including exposed knots, distinctive lines and imperfections that make each piece unique. Please understand that wood naturally changes colour slightly over time. We would be happy to discuss any concerns you may have regarding the natural tendencies of the hardwood we use in our designs.

Liability

Bella Blu Design cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated within the Website. We warrant to you that any Product purchased from us through our Website is of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for all the purposes for which the Product is intended.

Bella Blu Design performs rigorous checks on the accuracy of the information and Products on this site. However, we do not warrant that such information will be error free from any inaccuracies or errors. If any Product does not, on receipt by you, substantially meet the description on the Website, you are entitled to reject the goods to be returned.

Links to other websites

Our Website may contain links to third-party web sites or services that are not owned or controlled by Bella Blu Design. We have no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party web sites or services. You further acknowledge and agree that Bella Blu Design shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on or through any such Websites or services.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms and conditions at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
